ABOUT

Dr. Rachel Ravin is a clinical psychologist, licensed in the state of Maryland.  She has worked in a variety of settings including school, day treatment, hospital, inpatient, and outpatient settings.  She began her private practice in 2014.



Dr. Ravin obtained her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Michigan, and her Ph.D. from the George Washington University.  Dr. Ravin specializes in helping to support children and adolescents with a range of social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.  She uses games, books, play, and traditional talk therapy in her work with clients.  Dr. Ravin has been working in school settings since 2001, and values collaboration among parents, teachers, and other outside service providers.  She is available to go into schools to observe students, meet with teachers and other school staff, and attend IEP or other important meetings.
